Kilkenny Borough Councillor Sinn Fein’s Kathleen Funchion has said that the Fianna Fáil/Green Government has no mandate to implement the sweeping measures in the McCarthy report.

Fine Gael leader Dep Enda Kenny this week expressed his concern that Castlebar could be hit with further job losses. Fine Gael Leader Enda Kenny TD has criticised the Fianna Fáil/Green Government for what he calls “their reckless approach to job security and creation” as Mayo’s unemployment figures went through the roof over the past two years.
